Unsere Saphenion® News möchte in kurzer Form die Vorteile des Venenklebers „VenaSeal®“ darstellen und über unsere nunmehr 150 Monate Erfahrungen bei der Therapie an 4582 Stammkrampfadern berichten.
Our Saphenion® News would like to briefly present the advantages of the vein adhesive “VenaSeal®” and report on our 150 months of experience in the treatment of 4582 truncal varicose veins.
Saphenion® Ein halber Teelöffel VenaSeal® – Das Venenkleben mit der VenaSeal ist eine Technik, bei der grosse (!) Mengen Kunststoff in die Vene implantiert werden! So lesbar in einigen Statements und Veröffentlichungen von ärztlichen Kollegen. Eine andere nachlesbare Behauptung ist, dass der Kleber über 10 Jahre im Körper verbleibt.
Saphenion® Half a teaspoon of VenaSeal® – Vein sealing with VenaSeal is a technique in which large (!) quantities of plastic are implanted into the vein! This can be read in some statements and publications by medical colleagues. Another claim that can be read is that the adhesive remains in the body for over 10 years.
Saphenion®: long-time results of vein glue – has been published by us in regular succession for 10 years and aims to compare international publications on the subject with our own experiences and to remain meaningful. Our patients are now very well informed about this therapy method for varicose veins, which has been offered for 13 years.
After 149 months of use, we have so far treated 2185 patients on 4567 saphenous veins – over 1,1 Mio. patients worldwide have now been treated with the vein glue VenaSeal®. In the meantime, we have successfully used the vein glue VenaSeal® to clean the vein system in 66 patients with COVID-19 infection after they have recovered, and have treated 74 patients with ulcera crures of legs successfully.
Saphenion®: Mikroschaumverödung bei Stammkrampfadern – Die Verödungstherapie mit Mikroschaum ist grundsätzlich auch an den Stammvenen der Arme, Beine und auch des Oberkörpers erfolgreich durchführbar. Klebender Mikroschaum ist eine Modifikation des bekannten Verfahrens der Mikroschaumtherapie. Man erweitert die Verödungskomponente des Wirkstoffs Polidocarnol (Ethoxisklerol®, ab 1968 in der BRD zugelassen) mit dem Klebeeffekt von hochprozentiger steriler Glukose – Lösung.
Saphenion®: Microfoam sclerotherapy for truncal varicose veins – Sclerotherapy with microfoam can also be successfully performed on the truncal veins of the arms, legs and upper body. Adhesive microfoam is a modification of the well-known microfoam therapy procedure. The sclerosing component of the active ingredient polidocarnol (Ethoxisklerol®, approved in Germany from 1968) is combined with the adhesive effect of a high-percentage sterile glucose solution.
Saphenion®: Mikroschaumverödung für Krampfaderästhetik – Der Mikroschaum zur Behandlung von Krampfadern ist seit 1938 bekannt, er hat sich in den 90er Jahren als feste Therapie von Krampfadern und Besenreisern etabliert. Das Behandlungsmanagement des Krampfaderleidens wurde eindeutig erleichtert und die Therapie wurde schonender. Seit 2010 hat sich neben dem Mikroschaum eine Variante entwickelt, die heute eine breite Indikation der Mikroschaumtherapie abbildet – der Klebende Mikroschaum.
Saphenion®: Microfoam in varicose vein aesthetics – Microfoam for treating varicose veins has been known since 1938. It was established in the 1990s as a fixed therapy for varicose veins and spider veins. The management of the treatment of varicose veins was made easier and the therapy was gentler. In addition to microfoam, a variant has been developed since 2010 that today represents a broad indication of microfoam therapy – Sealing Microfoam.
